The Mawlawi Kurdish Cultural Centre (MKCC), the charity that owns St. Mary's, selected BARCX for the planning and construction of this exceptional Grade II listed building. The design respects the building's language, architectural heritage, and unique features, including the discreet placement of rainwater pipes behind brass fins.
This project has always focused on the finer details. At BARCX, we take pride in delivering a remarkable finished product within budget and on time.

The Glulam timber not only serves as a structural support but also draws inspiration from the arched vaulting characteristic of typical Gothic architecture, while maintaining a lightweight and subtle presence so as not to overwhelm the principal structure.
Phase 2, which involves the internal mezzanine and broader restoration, is set to begin in 2026, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration.
